TUTORIAL: Gradient nails

Here is one no fuss nail art technique you can use to jazz up your mani, cover up chipping tips on an old mani, or get more use out of all those chunky glitter polishes languishing in your collection.

What you'll need:

Sponge tip eyeshadow applicators
Two coordinating polishes (or three or four)
Clear top coat
Nail polish remover for clean up

1. Start out with a base color and allow to dry
2. Take one of the sponge applicators and brush some of the second polish onto the bottom half, don't worry about it being even or a perfect swipe
3. Take the loaded applicator and pat it along your nail tips, adding more polish to the applicator as needed until you finish all your nails.
4. Turn the applicator over and swipe a 3rd color onto the bottom 1/3, not as high as you did the previous color
5. Dab that onto your nail tips making sure not to cover up all of the previous color creating a nice gradient
6. Use the nail polish remover to clean up any excess polish
7. Put a top coat on and be fabulous!

Voila! Fancy eh?
